The façade is composed of angled brick faces, scattered along 5 ribbons of brick, each supported by thin steel sections. These act as “loose lintels” with post tensioned rods coordinated between architect and steel fabricator to support the brick.

The pattern intentionally contributes to an element of obscurity, where internal windows and floors lines are subtly concealed, resulting in a more cohesive compositional expression.

The interior design was intended to be luxurious and contemporary. The home’s liberal employment of dark materials, dynamic façade shading, and set backs contribute to its heightened drama and privacy.
